These terms govern the survey and consulting services provided by Eco Yacht Surveyors. By engaging us, you agree to them.
We provide independent marine survey and advisory services based on a visual and diagnostic inspection of the vessel at a point in time. A survey reports the condition observed during the inspection and does not constitute a guarantee or warranty of the vessel's future condition or fitness.
Our findings are limited to areas and systems accessible at the time of inspection. We are not responsible for defects concealed behind fixed structures, inside sealed or inaccessible spaces, or that would only be revealed by destructive testing unless specifically authorized.
Survey reports are prepared for the exclusive use of the commissioning party and may not be relied upon by third parties without our written consent. Reports reflect conditions observed on the date of inspection only.
Each engagement is quoted as a fixed fee in advance. Invoices are due upon delivery of the report unless otherwise agreed. Travel and haul-out expenses are included in the quoted fee where stated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific survey in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
